About Tennis Noise

I been in love with the game of tennis since I was a kid hitting acorns across my dad’s field with an old wooden tennis racket.  I tried out for our middle school tennis team in 7th grade and made 2nd seed after playing 4 weeks.  I wish I could say I was good, but the school team was just bery bad.

This blog is about all things in tennis that are of interest to me.  Hope you enjoy.

  1. Thank you for adding a link to my blog to your homepage. Much appreciated.

    I’ve subscribed to Tennis Noise.

    Happy blogging!

  2. Thanks for the note on my blog (Tennis News Authority)! While I’m not overly interested in utilizing the site for profit, I’m more than happy to provide a link to your site. I just went through your blog and it’s quite nice! Well done.

I used to spend quite a bit of time in Florida (St.Petes), however we no longer have the condo there, so I’m there much less frequently these days…Next time I’m in your area though, surely we should get out on the court and battle for an hour or two though 🙂

  3. I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THE PAIRING UP OF CHRIS AND NORMAN. THE FIRST CLUE OF UNEASINESS IS MARRYING A MAN WITH TWO FIRST NAMES. TO ME ,THERE SEEMED TO BE A VERY DARK SIDE OF HIS CHARACTER. I HEARD STORIES FROM GOOD FRIENDS ABOUT HIS QUESTIONABLE ANTICS AROUND THE GOLF COURSE. HE WILL GET HIS COME-UPPANCE(?), WHEN THE USA THROMPS THE INTERNATIONALS IN THE UPCOMING OF THE PRES.CUP THIS WKND.

    • Of course we all have a dark side…..it’s sad to see people try to have a fresh start and now looking like it’s going to fail. I hope they can work out their differences and make it work. All marriages hit tough spots, it just matters how bad you are willing to fight to make it work!

  4. Really enjoy your site. Could I possibly have you email address? There is something I would like to run by you if possible.

Either that or you can drop me an email.

    Thanks

    Thomas

  5. Hello,
We have developped a new generation of tennis racquet combining performance and ecofriendly.
We are using flax fiber in combination with carbon fiber in the racket design.
Flax (less rigid then carbon) enables vibration absorption and comfort. Carbon ensures the strengh and the performance.
Flax is natural and renewable resource enabling more ecofriendly product.
I will be please if you can forward this information on your website.

  6. This page explains your willingness to tear my son down in his death…I get it…you were not very good at tennis and probably jealous of those that are. Your attempt at humor is disgusting.

    • I’ve never claimed to be a world class athlete at tennis. I’ve just started this blog to share my passion of tennis. I play about once a week and get beaten by guys in their 60’s pretty regularly. I will always love this game. It’s been part of my life for a long time. I was even trained by guys in their 60’s who said I must hit the ball to them or they wouldn’t play with me when I was only 13. This habit of hitting the ball to the player did not work out well for me in school. I am sorry for your loss and I did not write the article to make lite of a rough situation. Sorry for your loss.
